Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) Meetings      

Each year during the Organizational Meeting in October, Lamont County Council appoints elected officials and citizens to various boards and committees. These boards and committees are established by Council through bylaws and may be delegated certain duties such as providing advice to Council on a range of municipal issues.

Applications for Board and Committee members are posted here. Descriptions of each board and committee are listed below. 

 

Lamont County currently has openings available for:

  • Intermunicipal Subdivision Development & Appeal Board (ISDAB)

    • Looking for up to 5 members, including from surrounding municipalities within Lamont County.

    • Appointment term runs to December 31, 2025.

  • Lamont County Library Board
    • Up to 5 members for positions on the Board (three-year term).

  • Agricultural (Service Board) Weed and Pest Appeal Committee
    • Three members at large (one-year term).

  • Lamont County Community Adult Learning Council (CALC)
    • Up to eight members at large (two-year term).
