County Offices Opening September 14
At the September 8, 2020, Council Meeting, Council passed a motion to re-open Lamont County Administration and Public Works buildings to the public as of September 14, 2020.
In preparation for this re-opening, Lamont County has implemented the following protocols and procedures to help ensure the health and safety of staff and the public:
In preparation for this re-opening, Lamont County has implemented the following protocols and procedures to help ensure the health and safety of staff and the public:
- Plexiglass has been installed at front desk reception areas and at additional desks in offices that encounter high traffic.
- Floor decals have been placed onto the entrance floors in each building to help guide the public on where to stand and further promote social distancing.
- A maximum of 4 (four) people will be allowed inside at once. Any party who does not have a floor decal to stand on will be required to wait outside in a line.
- Masks and sanitizer are supplied and made available at the front entrances.
- Ratepayers who require a meeting must book an appointment in advance. All visitors will be pre-screened and will not be allowed entrance if they fail the questionaire.
- The public will be limited to the front entrance or a meeting room.
- The public washroom is not permitted for use unless it is an emergency.
