Dog Control Bylaw Now in Effect

Please take notice that at the September 6, 2016, council meeting, Lamont County council completed the second and third readings of the Dog Control Bylaw #756.16.

This bylaw is now in effect throughout the county, and will be enforced as applicable. If you own dogs, please read the bylaw to be aware of any new control measures you now need to take, as well as the fines to be issued for non-compliance. 

Copies of the bylaw are available at the Lamont County Administration Building at 5303-50 avenue, Lamont, or can be downloaded online.
