Community Economic Development: Rural Diversification Initiative (RDI): The RDI provides funds for economic diversification projects in Alberta. RDI is targeted at bigger rural diversification projects (minimum$100,000) with clear measurable economic outcomes and strong private sector support. RDI is NOT a grant to business. RDI projects should provide benefits to communities and/or industries, rather than individual businesses.
