Postal Strike - Water and Garbage Billing (St. Michael/Hilliard)

Be advised during a postal strike, bills are not sent to residents by mail. Pick up a copy of bills for water (St. Michael) or garbage (Hilliard) at the Lamont County Administration Building during normal business hours. We apologize for this inconvenience. NOTE: Bill payment is still due by the normal deadline; unpaid bills will incur late fees.

Government of Alberta's Working Well Program presents a new workshop series that starts this month:

- Oct. 22: Getting to know your well;

- Oct. 29: Maintaining and managing your well; and

- Nov. 5: Sampling, testing and treating well water.

Water well owners can choose to attend any or all three workshops as applicable to your needs, and recordings will be posted online for those unable to attend. Registration and more information: alberta.ca/working-well-resources.

When was the last time you sampled your well water? Depending on the depth of your well you should be testing quarterly or semi-annually and water treatment may be required to address any concerns.
